Pre Asian Beach Games – Bangkok, Thailand

The Thailand Bodybuilding Association (TBBA) will be holding a competition during the event on October 6, 2008 to promote 14 sports that will compete at the 1st Asian Beach Games in Bali from October 18 through October 26, 2008. The competition will be held at Jindarak field located at the Office of Sport and Recreation Development.
The National Olympic Committee of Thailand assigned the Office of Sport and Recreation Development to promote 14 sports that will compete, and bodybuilding is also included in this event.
The bodybuilding competition at the 1st Asian Beach Games consists of 6 categories including 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg and 85kg. The TBBA will send 6 athletes to compete in all categories.
But the TBBA will organize the competition with just 3 weight categories including 60kg, 70kg and 80kg during the promotion event. The competition schedule will be as follows:
11:30am - Registration and weigh-in
13:30pm - Opening Event by the Minister of Ministry of Sports and Travel
13:50pm - Posing demonstration by Sitthi Charoenrith
14:00pm - Start of the competition
