TBBA Most Improved Sports Association

The Thailand Bodybuilding Association (TBBA) was awarded "Most Improved Sports Association" during the annual sports awards ceremony. The award was accepted by TBBA president Pakpong Kriengsak at the Suan Lum Night Bazaar in Bangkok on Monday.
The dedicated award ceremony -- which aired live on Channel 9 -- was organized by the Sports Reports Association of Thailand and presided by Tourism and Sports Minister Suwit Yodmanee. The TBBA graciously invited the ThaiBody team to join in on the festivities.
Internationally renowned Thai bodybuilder Sitthi Charoenrith was among the selection of top Thai athletes honored with a nomination. Charoenrith scored his 4th major international bodybuilding title when he took home gold for Thailand from the Asian Games in December last year.
Tennis player Danai Udomchoke and weightlifter Pawina Thongsuk won the Sports Writers Association of Thailand's male and female athletes of the year awards, and boxer Pongsaklek Kratingdaenggym the best professional athlete award. These athletes received His Majesty the King's trophies. Best Muay Thai fighter award went to Jomthong Pomkwannarong and was presented with His Royal Highness Crown Prince's trophy.
