Bali is hoping to draw some 5,000 athletes from at least 45 counties to compete in various beach sport competitions at the 1st Asian Beach Games held in Bali October 18-26, 2008.
Bodybuilders may compete in 6 weight classes: 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg and 85kg. Prejudging will be done on October 19th, with the finals the day after.

Update October 19, 2008: All Thai competitors have been qualified for the Bodybuilding Finals during the 1st Asian Beach Games. The Finals will be held on October 20, 2008.
